"Adoma makes movies for the mind", wrote Dutch newspaper 'Noordhollands Dagblad' at the release of Adoma's debutalbum 'a night through the telescope.' Many are moved by the atmospheric production and original songs on the album. Popmagazine OOR wrote "a beautiful, very atmospheric album" and LiveXS wrote: "international quality".

Adoma first started as the studio project of Dutch composer, musician and producer Ronnie van der Veer. He spend nearly 3 years on the writing, producing and recording of the electronic tracks for the album. On 'a night through the telescope' he combines chill out with triphop and a little IDM, influenced by groups like Lamb, Amon Tobin and Massive Attack.
The album contains strong atmospheric instumental tracks as well as vocal tracks sung by singers like Fabiana Dammers.

Before his project Adoma, Van der Veer was drummer in the melodic rock band A Day's Work. In 2004 he decided to quit the band and chose another direction. This was the birth of Adoma.
And today the studioproject has led to a liveband. A liveband that proofs that live electronic music can sound experimental and original, without losing it's catchiness.

The band:
* Ronnie van der Veer: drums and electronics
* Sanne Mallant: vocals
* Elianne Anemaat: cello, piano
* Laurens van Vliet: bassguitar and backing vocals
* VJ VideoCAD: VJ
